Today, two people in the comments to the articles in the series asked me the same question: is it possible to start writing a book from the middle, or from the thirteenth chapter, for example? Although, rather, these were not questions, but statements based on the experience of the people writing.
Yes, yes, and again — Yes! It’s like a Rubik’s cube — the same principle. You can start with almost any chapter, as long as you are comfortable with it . Moreover, this approach significantly increases the chances of creating text that is truly interesting for your readers.
For example, if I start writing a book about mental disorders in children, the topic of obsessive-compulsive disorder is closer to me. I have better studied all the nuances of this disease and can talk about it, if not endlessly, then at least easily and with interest.
Here it is only important to sketch out at least a general, schematic plan for the future book in order to understand what place the story about childhood OCD will occupy in the overall volume.
