ADHD and dyslexia damaged my education.

ADHD and dyslexia are two learning disorders that have significantly impacted my education journey. These conditions have presented numerous challenges and obstacles in my academic life, making it difficult for me to excel in school.

I first discovered that I had ADHD when I was in elementary school. I always struggled with focusing and paying attention in class, often finding myself daydreaming or becoming easily distracted by my surroundings. This made it challenging for me to follow instructions and complete tasks on time. As a result, my grades suffered, and I fell behind my peers in terms of academic achievement.

Similarly, my dyslexia became apparent during my early years in school. I had difficulty with reading, spelling, and understanding written instructions. I would often mix up letters and words, leading to confusion and frustration when trying to comprehend the material. This impacted my performance in subjects like English and History, where strong literacy skills were essential for success.

The combination of ADHD and dyslexia made it incredibly tough for me to stay organized and on top of my schoolwork. I would often forget deadlines, misplace assignments, or struggle to complete tasks due to my difficulties with focus and comprehension.
